"This was the only non-drill baby gate I could find that worked with our large metal bifold doors. It’s been excellent. It fits securely between the wall and bifolds without any drilling required. Seems made of high quality material. The swinging gate open and closes smoothly. Very sturdy and stable once you’ve put enough pressure on both ends. It’s brought peace of mind knowing our dog can’t get in or out baby out. If you have a similar setup with metal or bifold doors, I highly recommend it."

"We're very happy with our Perma Child Safety Gate. We recently installed it at the bottom of our staircase to keep our little one safe as they become more mobile, and it has given us real peace of mind. The gate feels sturdy, secure, and well made. Installation was straightforward, and once fitted it has been very reliable with a solid locking mechanism that's easy for adults to use but keeps curious little hands safely on the right side. It blends in nicely with our home and doesn't feel bulky or intrusive. We also purchased the Perma Banister adaptor to avoid damaging out handrail which is working perfectly so far! As any parent knows, babies can move faster than you expect, so having a dependable safety gate is a must. This one has been an excellent addition to our home, and we'd happily recommend it to anyone looking for a quality stair gate."

"This is a good gate, but was too tall and clashed with our hand rail. Perma Child Safety were great and allowed us to return it. This process was really easy. The only issue I had was with the non screw option, the wall brackets were too wide for the balustrade. A smaller bracket or vertical bracket option would’ve been better suited."

"We have pets so we have used a number of gates around our house and this is my favorite. Setup is quick since it’s pressure-mounted, and it feels secure enough for everyday use without putting holes in the wall. The auto-close feature is convenient, especially in high-traffic spots, and the “stay open” option is useful when you’re going back and forth. The low bottom bar is a nice touch too—it’s less of a tripping hazard than most gates."
