I also like that it comes with good installation instructions, and even templates. That made it feel like we were getting good quality for our money. The lift to get the gate open and closed is a bit finicky and not very smooth, but that doesn’t detract from the safety, just ease of use."
"Product is great for a stair gate as it doesn't have a step like other gate that can cause a tripping hazard. Highly recommend, take your time installing as you want to make sure everything is level to get best out of it. Only thing that would make this product perfect would be having metal hinges on the swing side. Haven't had issues yet but can see this being a weak point. Overall great product."
